Biography

Sian Ellis Tillott (b. 1995) is a London-based artist working predominately in graphite and charcoal on paper. Combining her studies in Psychology (BSc, MSc) with a love for the natural world, Sian creates detailed botanical works, exploring the intersection of art, nature, and their restorative benefits. Drawn to a monochromatic palette, Sian captures the subtle nuances of form and texture in her botanical portraits. Sian has exhibited her work in London and Norfolk at The Gallery at Green & Stone, The Gallery Holt, and the Mall Galleries, where she has won a number of awards. Sian has recently been elected a fellow member of the Society of Botanical Artists and selected as an RBA Rising Star where she has been shortlisted as a semi-finalist for the prestigious Rome Scholarship.
